Excelsior Lawn Care currently has an internship opportunity available. We are looking for someone who would like to learn the skills involved in the lawn care/landscape field and who may also be interested in learning the business side as well. This would be a great opportunity for someone who is interested in picking up these skills. Advantages would include: 1) Hands-on skills training 2) Pesticide applicator training and state certification 3) Opportunity for practical business training 4) Opportunity to earn a little extra income as a back-up lawn care specialist 5) Preferred placement in any future part- or full-time employment openings that may occur. Responsibilities would include: 1) Coming to training once, or at times twice, per week 2) Filling in with lawn jobs when necessary 3) Studying any necessary materials 4) Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor when dealing with customers

Requirements-- Candidates must have:
1) A valid driver's license
2) An interest in the lawn care/landscape field
3) A willingness to learn/study and a desire for excellence
4) A willingness to live up to company policies and dress codes
5) Must be responsible, honest, trustworthy, and reliable

This position recieves minor compensation for training and approximately $12/hr. for field work when filling in as a specialist. Instruction in the business economics, office work, and/or website maintenance areas of the business may also be available for the intern if interested.
